As you may have already heard, Stand Up Placer has rescheduled its most significant fundraiser of the year, Stand Up and Dance, to July 11th. The funds raised from this event serve a critical purpose in Placer County communities. Although the event has been postponed, VICTIMS CANNOT POSTPONE ESCAPING VIOLENCE!

The recent murder/suicide in Placer County is a tragic reminder of the critical role that Stand Up Placer plays. Funding is more important than ever due to the potentially increased incidences of domestic violence as a result of social distancing measures. These new practices, while designed to keep everyone safe from viral outbreaks, only serve to increase isolation and stress in domestic violence situations.
